Milan Stojanovic, MD, FIPP

Our physicians are all accomplished and recognized clinicians, educators, and authorities in the specialty of Interventional Pain Medicine.

One of our physicians has had the honor of serving on the teaching faculty at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital where he has trained others from around the world.

Dr. Sakai is ABMS Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with subspecialty certification in Sports Medicine and Pain Medicine.  Dr. Stojanovic is American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) Certified in both Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine.

Our physicians all completed an American College of Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) approved fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital (Harvard affiliated) and John Peter Smith Hospital (University of Texas Southwestern affiliated).

ABMS Board Certification in Pain Medicine and ACGME fellowship training in Interventional Pain Medicine have long been considered by the medical community to be the highest, most rigorous and accepted gold standard in physician credentialing and training.

Completion of an ACGME approved multidisciplinary fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine is essential to ensure that interventional spine and pain procedures are performed safely, selectively, and technically correctly in order to maximize effectiveness and minimize complications or discomfort. Another crucial benefit is significant exposure to a wide variety of acute and chronic spine and pain conditions that encompass all aspects of medical, behavioral, interventional, and complementary techniques.

Our commitment to excellence, along with the credentials of our experienced and compassionate physicians are what make us one of the most distinctive spine and pain centers in New England.
